Council Elections 2011 - Information
This year, the governing Council of Workplace Savings NZ has a number of vacancies needing to be filled by enthusiastic industry participants interested in making a difference. This is an excellent opportunity to take an active part in managing the strategic direction of Workplace Savings NZ.
Nominations for Council members closed 31 March 2011, and Councillor Elections closed Wednesday 20 April 2011.
The full make-up of our new Council will be announced at our Annual General Meeting, Wednesday 27 April 2011 (at the Wellington Club, click here to RSVP your attendance).
Below is a list of our current Council membership:
1. Must stand-down 2011 (having completed 6 years on the governance team):

2. Must stand for Re-Election 2011:

3. Continuing terms:
- David Biegel - Mercer (N.Z.) Limited
- David Boyle - OnePath (NZ) Limited
- David Ireland - Kensington Swan

- Sasha Mandich - Russell Investments
4. Resigned Councillors
- Monica Davis - Airways Superannuation Plan (Resigned in August 2010). To replace Monica the Council co-opted Kerry Haycock, also from the Airways Superannuation Plan
4. Retired Councillors
- Dianne Kidd - Independent Director (Council agreed to co-opt Dianne to remain as Conference Committee Chair until after our 2011 Forum).
